Mereway kitchen door/drawer fronts fading.

We had a Mereway kitchen fitted about 3 years ago, the colour and style chosen were Metroplitan Beech. Recently we have noticed that drawers situated near a window are changing colour, fading from a beech to a light pinky colour. This is especially marked as the plinth below has resisted fading (also supplied by Mereway). Having contacted the manufacturer and found that they denied any liability regarding colour change, but were willing to let me buy the three replacement drawer fronts at the "cost" price of about £150 (from memory). I considered this to be an excessive amount, and there is no guarantee that Mereway are now using improved materials that would not fade again. As there is no obvious warning on the website that their products should not be placed near any source of natural light (difficult to do in a kitchen), I feel that Mereway are not a company that I would recommend (although the units are otherwise well constructed), and I would be interested to learn of any other experiences from forum members.
