Algarve Car Hire CDW

I got a price for a hire car from Carjet who I have used before in Spain. But for Portugal there seems to be a big extra cost (€8.47 per day) payable locally to remove liability for the excess of €750. The price for a week with a 205 a/c is not bad at £89 but the super CDW adds an extra £42. Is there a way to pay this in the UK to get a cheaper overall price?

I also get frustratred when having the burden of extra payments for CDW but this year I found a website that covers all of that and gives you free second driver I'll PM you as I don't want to break site rulesAlgarve0
