I called Derbyshire this morning and asked about that. The adviser said that the Season Saver and 6.00% (ongoing) regular saver were available to non members.
mary - I thought you had two regular savers with the Derbyshire? When they decreased the rate last summer I moved most of the money to Coventry First. However I kept both regular savers open and made minimum monthly payments. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

I closed them down and moved all the money to Coventry, and as the anniversary is up now this week, I'm on the move again to putting the lump into Sainsburys. I didn't retain the Derbyshire, as I didn't know that such things as Loyalty Regular Savers were a possibility.
Their Season Saver and regular saver, are not worth the hassle IMO.
Thanks for thinking of me.0 -

Oh well not to worry. I'll also be on the move from Coventry, in a couple of months when the bonus expires.Speculator wrote:Print off application form here. http://www.thederbyshire.co.uk/savin...4_311_0_3365_1

I was told the same when I called Derbyshire this morning - but I haven't had time to post further until now. I was also told that, once savers had opened an account they would automatically start earning the next highest rate available - once the required number of months of membership was reached.
E.g. a saver has been with the Derbyshire for 95 months so qualifies for the 7.25% rate. After two months the saver will automatically begin being paid 7.50%, as he/she will then have been a Derbyshire member for 97 months. Please call me 'Kazza'.0
