Edinburgh Fringe Festival Free Venues & v. cheap train fares

Options
The Edinburgh fringe festival starts this weekend and runs for 4 weeks. This year there are more free (that's totally free entry:T, no obligations of any kind!) venues than ever before, with loads of shows from morning til morning! details here.....

For a great family friendly show, go and see Comedy Sportz (again free) improvised fun and games for all the family, this is a big thing in the US with teams in several states (similar to Whose Line Is It Anyway, only much funnier!) and your only chance to see the limited shows of the UK version, (seen the shows in Manchester, great fun), details here

For low price train travel to Edinburgh from around the country

If you can manage to get a train ticket for £1.25 each way (might not be possible, but worth a try!), you could get a day out in Edinburgh and see loads of shows for under a fiver, rain optional!
