Hi,
I've found a site that offers free web hosting.
I've used this myself, it has a standard control panel which is easy to use and various other features.

http://www.freehostingnow.com/
but i can't seem to sign up.
just get some kind of error when you click submit.0 -

Yeh I was going to sign up for that MS Office Live free hosting, but then they asked for card details! I think if you signed up during beta stage it will always be free, but the current one on offer may include some costs at the end of the month, or 3 months, or a year? I'm not sure but I wanted to make sure I wasn't paying a penny
I've only just found this site and it has absolutely everything! Going to start reclaiming some bank fees!
Microsoft Office Live Basics beta customers
Microsoft Office Live Basics remains free after the end of the beta phase. If you want to continue with Microsoft Office Live Basics, you do not need to do anything.
You also have the option of upgrading to the more full-featured Microsoft Office Live Essentials or Microsoft Office Live Premium product at any time.
I am hoping that the above means I will never have to pay..........I believe that they ask for a card to confirm ownership details, and I know you can only have 1 website per card, so maybe a restriction.if you want to see my free site (the business is no longer going ahead, so there is no referring or advertising or whatever else eagle eyed viewers may be concerned about, I promise!) then it is at skills-for-you.co.uk Jsut gives an idea of what you can get?

Hi
I used to use Webmaster Networks you only get 100mb of space but it was good. I now use a paid service 3ix I signed up for the excite package (which has been udgraded to 2000mb of space) 10gb b/width. Excite only costs £7.08 for the year. :cool:The Emperor... wants to conquer outer space. Yoda... wants to explore inner space. :cool:0 -
Another vote for 3ix, had the space for a while but wanted to change it's name / e-mail addresses, all done without hassle in a few hours even though they are US based
Mine was 6.49 at the time, weaker dollar then I guessEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -

Yep, I get errors as well so I can't sign up. They must be collecting email address.indelacio wrote:freehostia.com is pretty good, you can use php on it which a lot of free hosts dont allow, and use databases.
Hosting may be free but you have to purchase a domain name.0 -

It looks like Office Live Basics (FREE) could be the starting point for you as you don't have to know much about HTML. Domain name belongs to you and they will keep on paying the renewal for you too. I'm considering signing up.0
