That's not bad for 3 flights in the summer months.
Have a look at www.ba.com as they are having a sale on US flights at the moment. Not sure though of the dates that you can travel. It may be for winter months.
Have you also looked at Expedia and Kelkoo??0 -
great price BA £803 thanks ejones....
Delta £783 its getting better£778 with Virgin....any idea who's the best out of the 3 ? please..

I'd vote for Virgin. In flight entertainment is excellent.0

I think a lot depends on where you are flying from.
We go from Manchester so a lot of good prices only if you have a stop on the journey somewhere. Not a good idea with 2 kids and the current security situation in most airports worldwide.0 -
virgin economy product is better than ba.Matched Lay Betting Profit £992
Casino Bonus Bagging Profit £30020 -
flying from gatwick... do you think this is the lowest price I can get ?
hoping to book monday evening once I have been allowed holiday dates at work...I would love to be a Travel Agent :j0 -
I can't see the price getting much lower if at all.
3000 approx miles for £280 is not bad is it?
If it was just you alone then you could try the bucketshops for a last minute cancellation but you want 3 seats - I would book now.0 -

If you're flying from Gatwick then it will be a Continental flight rather than Virgin. They have a codesharing agreement and Continental operate the LGW-NYC flights but Virgin can sell tickets on them and vice versa. That's worth knowing when you think about the in-flight entertainment as Continental aren't as good on that front as far as I'm aware.
Personally I'd go with those flights anyway as they're the cheapest so slightly more money to spend when you're there0 -

What's a bucketshop? The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0 -
I was wrong!!!!!!
I thought that £280 from Manchester to New York could not be beaten.
I have just booked 4 flights (3 adult 1 child) with Delta direct flight to JFK through Expedia for a total including taxes oF £955!!! (24TH TO 28TH November).
We are staying at the Ameritania midtown Manhatten.
Total cost of both flight and hotel £1422.
