bags for taking liquids in carry on - where to buy?

any recommendations for the best place to stock up on 20x20cm (8x8inch) seethrough, resealable bags to meet current security regulations?

Freezer bags or sandwich bags from the supermarket or some at Muji, there are some Muji shops in House of Fraser.

They give them out for free at the airport (well unless they've stopped doing that recently!)

i've heard that, but i have visions of turning up and them not having any, meaning i either cant take my bits with me, or i have to buy some overpriced thing from one of the shops before security

i feel the need to err on the side of caution with this

i got mine from tescos.. but beware that on the flight back (we went to the dominican republic) that your not allowed even to use the bags you have to put all liquids in your main luggage
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.

Is what recent, the plastic bags or no liquids on US flights?

They've both been in effect for quite some time now.....

At Stansted last week there was a notice up that they will no longer be giving out bags. I used a resealable freezer bag (less than 20 cms length or height) and that was OK.

Netto sell a pack of bags specifically for flight use. Not sure on the price though.
