Hi,
There appears to be some free on-line storage space being offered by 123, the domain people, here. The site does mention that there is no size limit on your available space either.
Please ensure that you read the terms and conditions, but seems a genuine offer to me.
Hope this may be of use to some of you,
Regards,
White.

I signed up.. still can't find anything that says how much storage there is.
I'm at work now but will try tonight - see if I can fill it up.
I have a free account with Diino - 2GB, you have to pay a fee if you want more. I've already managed to fill that one up
Isn't there a web hosting site with a similar name or is it the same company?
you do have to trust these sites as they have all your information, pics etc. (I won't be using it to back up my money files and personal info though.)

Upload files to your online storage
Simply drag and drop files or whole folders from your computer to your online storage space. You'll have an infinite amount of space to store and backup all your documents, pictures, music and videos securely online. You can even allow trusted people to upload files to an online folder.0 -

It can't be infinite... how can a company offer this and not charge?
what do they gain from this????Light bulb moment April 07: [strike]£3,655 [/strike] Oct 07: [strike]£2,220[/strike] now 0 - 3 years of Uni debt to be added at a later datenow at Uni as a Mature student -update: now has a First Class BA!0 -

Probably trying to get largest market share possible and then change the terms so it becomes a paid service and people will have invested so much time in uploading GiBs of data they'll feel obliged to pay.
Can't see anything wrong with it but I think I'd encrypt my stuff with truecrypt first before uploading."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Yep.. the T&C's say that they will inform people if they change to a fee paying service.
I only need back up for awhile until I get a DVD burner and a 2nd HD - I'll be buying those next month.
Will have a look at truecrypt as well.. sounds useful!
