Lets say go for bronze £300, Silver £500 and gold £1000 I really need some motivation. Im going to start a loose change jar. At the end of everyday I am going to empty my purse of notes and put them in the jar and see what ive got at the end of the 2 months. Also If i fancy getting a pizza or a dvd or a magazine or even go out for the night im going to try and say NO!!!!! and put the money in the jar. Might work sometimes!! Come on DO IT!!! :D

  • Brilliant challenge, dezzie:T

In the past I've watched so many challenges from the sidelines, cheering on the participants and having a half-hearted 'go' myself. I've never had the courage to put myself in for a challenge before:o but I'm seriously considering this one. That's a breakthrough for me, 'almost' joining is a damn sight better than nothing:eek:

Just a bit of clarification needed please. There I go you see, any excuse to faff about without actually committing:o. Seriously though, is this challenge for 2 calendar months( the rest of June plus the whole of July) which is a bit short to do it in:eek: , or is it for 8 weeks from today? Please could you let us know your planned end date , then we all know what we are taking on? Also, a list of 'rules' would be great.

Even if I don't actually join as such I'll be wishing you all the very best of luck and cheering your successes.:A
  • Good luck, with as quoted a cracking if animated !!!! like that, you dont need to use the cleavage ;) Ever thought of lap dancing ?
Competition wins. 2 festival camping tickets worth 310, case of grants whisky 74. :p

I would like to join if I may?

My partner has a heart attack three weeks ago and is now going to be off for 8-12 weeks so I need all the money I can get!!

My plan of action is to Ebay like a mad thing!! I have loads of clothes to sell so I will chain myself to computer desk until I have listed them all!

Woohoo I am all motivated now! Have been feeling a bit down about my situation recently, a couple of debts have escalated to debt collection and things are looking bleak so I am determined to do this!!

    Thanks for starting this thread!

hmmm lap dancing.... I just aint got no groove!!

ok lets start the challenge from yesterday the 11th until the 11th of August.

The rules are pretty simple, make £300, £500 or £1000 from anything like quidco, selling things on ebay, saving coins anything youve managed to save from your wages or part time job, sorry but bank charges do not count. the reason I want to list how much youve saved is so that you can see progress. I opened a virgin casino account through quidco placed 51 pound in it. I have spent a pound and quidco have tracked £50!!! so when I actually get that I will list it. Ive also opened a coral account and placed ten pound in it. It has tracked £25 too so hopefully that will come. I have only spent a pound which is pretty cool. I emptied my purse of change last night into my large budwiser bottle moneybox and will do this everyday!! I am going to list my old phone on ebay and some sim cards so hppefully that will get some money.

If you can list your posts like this

    ebay.........£31
    Saving Jar £19

    Total so far...... £50

then a nice note on how yah doin....

    copying and pasting each time.

    I will start today

    Ebay..............................£0
    Quidco............................£75 (but only tracking)
Savings jar £? (not opening until the end)
    PT job............................£0
    Free fivers......................£0

total so far.....................£0 (but £75 hopefully on its way and money in the jar but not counting)

Does that seem ok? Any other rules or anything other comments greatly recieved!!! So whos in??

    C xx
