Flights 2008 & Airport transfers

I have found accomodation in Cala D'or and booking direct with the hotel is a good price. However when do flights to Majorca for May 2008 go on sale? Does anybody know how much a taxi from Palma airport to cala dor would cost for 6 of us - suppose we'd need 2 taxis. Would it be as well to book it as a package with a tour operator or book seperately?

Many of the budget airlines fly to Palma - get yourself on their e-mail lists which will advise you when flights are available. eg EasyJet, Ryanair, Jet2.com.

If you have a good price I would go for it by booking the hotel now and do the flights when you can.

As for transfers I would look at companies that can transport you by mini bus as you should all fit in one!

Thanks for your help. Sounds like a good idea to me. After posting I did a search on taxi transfers and found one for £242 for all six of us. So even if we ended up having to pay more than £100 for flight we'd end up with better rooms for same price as tour operator package. Now off to register with all cheap flight operators

and it looks like return mini bus transfers only work out at around £140

i have now booked these price worked out at £100 for return transfers which was the cheapest i could fine and they have an office in the airport

Can anyone help us find a cruise for either 7, 10, 12 or 14 days for the weekend 28th/29th July 2007? There will be 4 of us travelling in 2 inside cabins. Sailing from the UK would be best. Any help greatly appreciated.
