Some good sites for valuing selling prices

Options
I've used this site quite a few times and found it very accurate.

Also, if you obtain the house price history from a site like Mouse Price, you can use the Nationwide house price calculator to get a rough estimate of today's value

I've found PropertyPriceAdvice.co.uk to be relatively accurate, and a real help in buying and selling houses

nethouseprice.co.uk will tell you what properties have sold for so it gives you an idea of the prices in the street.

    Thanks Liz

I've tried nethouseprice before, but have found that mouseprice is much more up to date

I wish it was accurate for mine...came out just about twice the likely value!

Maybe it hasn't bunking_off. When did you last get your house valued ??

I know I was shocked when I sold my last flat for in excess of £100k more that I thought it was worth !!

Nah...it is a couple of years since mine was valued, but on a large housing estate (even though there aren't any directly comparable houses like mine...it's about 10% larger than the nearest-sized) if the most a house has ever gone for is £300k, nothing's going to sell for £598k...
