Hi Guys!
Another week gone and into June 2007 in the next week:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:
Here is our mealplan for the week.
Saturday-Out at friends(taking pizza and salad)
Sunday-Roast Lamb, Roasties, Yorkies, Parsnips, Cabbage, French Beans, Swede/Carrot & Mint Gravy
Monday-Creamy Pork Chops, New Pots, Cauli, Cabbage & Peas
Tuesday-Sausage, Mash, Carrots and Corn On Cob
Wednesday-Chicken Curry & Rice
Thursday-Shepherds Pie, Brocolli, Cut Beans & Carrots
Friday-Steak, Chips & Salad
With it being half term lunches will be soup (tinned Heinz as I stocked up when cheap), baked spuds, rice salads, sarnies/rolls, leftovers or I have loads of small pizzas in the frezer that need using. Breakies will be toast, cereal, porridge, juice, fruit, eggs or bacon sarnies.
So what are you all having?

We're going out to dinner tonight. For the rest of the week I will be eating salads or home made soups, as I'm trying to shift my tummy. My DH will be living on HM ready meals from the freezer, all of which were the extras made from meals in the last couple of weeks.
Sun - haven't decided
Mon - Beef casserole with dumplings
Tue - Chili Beef and Chilli Chicken Piadines
Wed - both of us will be having Chicken in a sauce, not HM I'm afraid
Thu - Mutton Casserole
Fri - Fish, fresh from the fishmonger, variety tbd

I love doing this as i know exactly what i am cooking, what i now need to buy anyway here is ours for the week
Saturday lentil bake (forgot to take any meat out of freezer last night) had potatoes and chicken pie with it, was very yummy and will become something i cook now
Sunday roast lamb, jersey potatos and veg
Monday something with the left over lamb, potoes or rice
Tuesday sausage potato/sweet poato mash vegtables
Wednesday pasta a sauce and bacon pieces
Thursday chicken thighs wedges and mixed veg
Friday mince with rice (a freezer left over, will be bulked out to make a meal)
my menu is planned around what i have left so i dont really need to do a shop this week and as its half term shopping with 3 boys on a bus is a nightmare
breakfasts are shreddies or weetabix and toast
Lunch soup made from the lamb and then a chicken one on friday, beans on toast or pasta and a sauce(jar)

Hi all, school hols for us this week with lots of playdates so will have to be quite a child-friendly menu.
Today - chicken stir-fry (sandwiches for lunch)
Sunday - chicken escalopes, new potatoes, peas
Monday - pizza, chips, sweetcorn
Tuesday - sausage lasagne, potatoe wedges, salad
Wednesday - special fried rice
Thursday - fish-pie and veg

Saturday: Curry from Feezer
Sunday: Full english breakfast/brunch, then if hungry later maybe salad sandwiches
Monday: Out at my brothers for lunch
tuesday: Beef casserole with cabbage, beans and courgettes
Wednesday: Pasta with cream broccoli and corgettes and sweetcorn
Thursday: Jacket potato and salad
Friday: Chicken curry

Hi everyone, just the main bits from me again, veg as usual depends what's in/needs using etc, as usual alternatives for the kids when they can't/won't have what we are. Half term so trying to keep it simple.
Saturday - Quorn fillet, peppercorn sauce, rice with peas and peppers (need using)
Sunday - Steak stew with dumplings
Monday - Lasagne
Tuesday - Out I think, HM pizza if not
Wednesday - Beef dinner with veg

Phew... glad I got that sorted. Also means I dont' have to go any more over my Grocery Challenge budget till the end of May as I've got all the above in alreadyApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Got a hectic week ahead so need to meal plan:D This is for me OH,DD15 and DS16.
Sunday - vegetarian chilli,with home made spicy potato wedges and salad.
Monday - Roast pork, mashed potatoes,sprouts, broccoli, carrot/swede, apple sauce and gravy.
Tuesday - Vegetable stir fry with strips of roast pork and cashews.
Wednesday - Chicken/vegetable casserole done in slow cooker.
Thursday - Poached salmon, prawns, marie rose sauce and salad.With home made malted bread.
Friday - Pea and ham soup done in slow cooker.With home made malted bread.
Saturday - Beef Brisket joint cooked in slow cooker. With roast potatoes, cabbage, cauliflower, carrots and swede,and yorkies.
Breakfasts are porridge/ cereal/toast or boiled eggs.
Lunches are home made vegetable soup with fruit, or sandwich with salad.
Snacks are yoghurts, fruit, fromage frais, dried fruit packs,and home made cakes/flapjacks etc.DS16 will also eat cereal as snacks.
We dont bother much with desserts.

DD is on rice crispies for breakfast ( finally got her off coco pops :rolleyes: ) I will have either HM bread toasted with honey or porridge and honey.
Lunches are going to be difficult as we are both all over the place this week but will be trying to use up a glut of tuna in sandwiches and if my rocket grows enough I will be having tuna salad. Will also be making some HM soup to take out in flasks with HM bread.
Snacks are fruit and will be making some flapjack and shortbread. Im also on the look out for recipies to use up all bran if anybody has any
probably not the most nutricious diet this week but am trying to come in under £200 for the month ( budget was £150 but that went out the window ages ago :rolleyes: )
