I prefer to use free products (like everyone else here) but I was wondering if this was worth parting with £5.01 for 1 year protection.
Sunbelt are offering a 50% reduction on counterspy
At the moment I use Spybot and Ad-aware but have heard that counterspy is one of the better antispyware programs.
Any thoughts from anyone before I part with a fiver.

Use a good antivirus (like AVG free), spyware blockers (like Spybot and SpywareBlaster), and get the NoScript plugin for Firefox (http://noscript.net/).
I can't imagine that you would get any further benefits from CounterSpy.0
