i am new to selling and just wondered do u wait till they give you feedback or straight after they have paid. i am scared if i give good feed back they might find something they don't like about the product and give me bad. i always email the buyer to ask if it's arrived and to let me know any problems. what do others do??
IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!!!:j:money:

As a very regular seller on ebay i always leave feedback once the buyer has left feedback for me.
To me thats when the transaction is complete - when the buyer has signified by leaving positive feedback they have received the item in a satisfactory condition and in a timely manner.0 -
This question is asked all the time on here.
Personally as a seller I leave it when I know the buyer has received their item/s and is happy - ie when they have left +ve feedback for me. The transaction isn't over until then - you may have to deal with lost parcels or unsatisfied buyers. Other folk will disagree but it's up to you. And I never ask for feedback - it is voluntary.0 -

That is good as long as you dont leave retaliation feedback (negative as they have given you negative) If the transaction is complete and both parties are happy then you can go ahead and leave feedback when they have left feedback. It is probably best to do it the way suggested above because if the buyer is unreasonable and wont let you try and correct the problem with the item (if there is one) then they deserve a negative and if they leave you a negative just explain what happened below it. There isnt really a set time to leave feedback just do it when everything is sorted and both buyer and seller are happy.Offical MSE Fantasy League Member:beer:0 -
OP, if it gives you peace of mind to wait for the buyer to leave feedback first then do just that. I was like you when I started selling but now I have a bit of experience under my belt I'm happy to give feedback first if I don't hear from the buyer after a few days.0
