Hi,
In need of some help in the technical department, as my feather quill just isn't upto scratch these days.... !
I'm trying to suss out the difference in:- CD RW & DVD RW intergrated
Is it a case of the DVD RW writing data to DVD opposed to CD. If this is the case then will the DVD RW also read information on CD's ?
I guess the 'intergrated' means within the machine.
Thanks, in anticipation
Mick

My understanding is that all DVD-RW drives are also by default CD-RW drives, thus a DVD-RW could effectively be described as having an integrated CD-RW drive.
At least I think that's what you are asking. The MSE Dictionary
Loophole - A word used to entice people to read clearly written Terms and Conditions.
Rip Off - Clearly written Terms and Conditions.
Terms and Conditions - Otherwise known as a loophole or a rip off.0 -
DVDs are harder to write to and read from as the information is packed together more tightly. It is easier to write to and read from a CD. That is why most DVD writers can handle CDs. Many DVD writers can handle both +RW and -RW. Some bundled with mass produced PCs don't. The latest DVD writers support dual layer writing aswell.

Insert blank CD, create playlist in iTunes with songs you want on CD. Right click on playlist and click burn CD.0 -

yes but i'm not telling someone who decides to ask in a completly unreleated thread from 2005 rather than start a new thread.0
