Help needed Sky+ remote problem

Hello,
Looking for any help that can be offered as my Sky+ remote has stopped being able to turn volume up or down on my tv, it worked until recently, not sure if one of the kids may have pressed a load of buttons or not.
When I press the volume on the remote the red light on it comes up but nothing happens.
Am I being dense?, or is it a new one required?

probably needs re-programming. Check the manual and there will be a code for your make of TV.0

Select the Interactive Menu on the Digibox, the 5. Sky Customer Service
Then select Technical Assistance, then select for all Sky Remotes.
Then select for your Sky + Remote, then How can I set up my Sky+ remote control.
You will need the Make & Model of your TV.0 -
