help with world of warcraft please

my OH has just bought wow ( he was very excited bless him) it all installed ok, but just wont connect when you try and play it. it stays on the connecting page but then doesnt do anything else! could anyone help please (neither of us are very techie!) id love to be able to watch desperate housewives in peace!!!!

Sorry - can't help with the technical side of this but I can tell you you'll get plenty of time to watch anything you want because if your OH gets into WOW he'll be unavailable for EVERYTHING! Teo of my workmates play it and they literally do nothing else. No tv, social life, only WOW. It seems to be very addictive.

I agree with this. I'd check into firewall settings on the WoW homepage. There will likely be some router / firewall changes to be made to allow the traffic for the game.

But what the guy said is right. EVERYONE I know who's started playing it has dropped everything else. Not to put too much panic in here, but i've even seen marriage issues as a result (no joke). Good luck with that....

p.s. The only reason I didnt start playing it, is because I knew i'd get nothing else done (just like my old housemate)

oh dear what have i let myself in for!! Althought to be quite honest hes usually on the playstation anyway so it wont be anything new lol:rolleyes:
