feedback?

I sold an item 2 months ago. Who is supposed to leave feedback first, or does it not matter? I didn't leave any straight away as the buyer waited nearly a week to pay and then it took 2 weeks to clear. They haven't left me any either, should I just leave them a positive and hope they'll do the same back or should I just leave it? I'm a bit worried about getting negative from them for not leaving them any yet
I'm very new to this, can you tell:o

If the transaction went ok, leave a positive, a lot of the time people want to recieve feedback to check its positive before they leave any, but I would say just leave a positive and be nice, if there was a problem and they were going to neg you, they would have contact you before0

If i'm buying then I leave feedback once I have the item and I'm satisfied with it's condition but if I'm selling I will leave feedback when I get feedback as I like to know if the item has arrived safely etc.0

As a seller I only leave it after a buyer does as a buyer I leave it once I am happy.
This question is a can of worms and we will probably need to erect the boxing ring again.
The main point to remember is a sellers feedback is much more impprtant to him than a buyers, in that poor feedback affects sales whereas as a buyer poor feedback does not stop you buying (unless in negative territory).
Most serious sellers have a buying and selling account to avoid problems.0
