I'm back and pleasantly surprised.

Well, Mexico was fabulous I'm pleased to say (I would recommend it to anyone:beer: ) and we have also returned to 3 ebay sales, not bad when we had no listings running and the shop was on holiday settings, I was a little concerned that any buyers might complain about delivery speed as the holiday message on the shop listings was tiny and easily missed, but today I have already got feedback for items only posted yesterday, not bad as we only got back at 9am!
I wish all customers were so good at leaving f/b, I am waiting for 12, yes 12, lots going back up to a month ago, even newbies I encouraged by leaving f/b first (which I never usually do), haven't responded, which is mildly irritating.
I have to go to work at 5pm, which is pants, another day and I will feel like I have never been away!

if after 1 month my buyers have still not left feedback i usually send a pleasant message through ebay with the following:

    Hi,

We notice that feedback is still outstanding for this item. We kindly request you to leave positive feedback, as this indicates that you are satisfied and the transaction is complete.

Once a transaction is complete, we always leave feedback for our buyers.

If there are any issues with your purchase that you have not made us aware of, please reply to this message and we will try to help as best we can.

    Regards,

That just screams "I'M DESPERATE FOR FEEDBACK". If you sent it to me I'd instantly bin it and make sure I made a point of NOT leaving you any feedback.

I have to agree with snooze control on this one. Being hassled to leave feedback is irritating. People obviously forget that it's voluntary.

Why should the buyer leave feedback first? Their job's done once they've paid!

I always post feedback for a buyer once they've done their bit.

...ahem, why SHOULD buyers leave it first??? This really gets my goat - the buyer has done his/her bit when the money is received, sellers should *always* leave it first.......

...... or have I just been reeled in hook, line and sinker? :o <sigh>
