Selling tickets on e-bay - worried.

Hello,
I have recently discovered I can't make a sold out concert and would like to sell the ticket. However, reading through here am a bit worried about it, and what it says about "non trasferability"...
There are plenty of similar tix selling on e-bay and I was going to price it at face value auction style (as Im new to it). Will I be ok doing this?
How else can you get rid of genuinely unwanted tickets?

Tickets are hit or miss as to whether they get pulled.
ID issues and EBay rules aside, the best chance of the auction running its course is if you list on a Thursday night @ 10-00pm ish for 3 days.

I think if you can prove that you actually have the tickets in hand and that you clearly display the face value in the auction then you should be fine unless the organizers ask eBay to pull itTitch

If you decide not to sell on ebay, theres a website for selling gig and festival and gigs tickets only at face value. Theres no charge for using this site

Resale of tickets is not illegal and ebay have publicy stated this.
So if they pull auctions for transferrablity reasons (as opposed to not being in possession) they've got double standards.
Re the non-transferable thing, that's basically a term of sale between you and the seller. You would be in breach of contract, but they'll never do anything to chase this up. Hence the annoying ticket touts buying all these gig tickets with a view to selling on and not actually going.:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:0 -
I just yesterday finished selling tickets for my friend ,who could not go due to ill health, and as far as being transferable, there was no problem and I had them on a 5 day sale. However you do get a lot of worring bids, and I had to withdraw two ( one had 50% feedback and keeped asking if he could pay cash ! ). So I suspect your biggest problem would be the dodgy bidders ! I made my auction paypal payment only and clearily stated that item must be sent special delivery ( to protect against paypal chargebacks). Also just tighten up yor ebayer preferances. Or make it buy it now immediate payment. Good luck0
