SHARPER IMAGE EUROPE: vanishing act???

We purchased an electronic item from Sharper Image in December as a Christmas present to ourselves. Our order specified a UK plug, but when we opened the box, the plug wasn't there.
In January we emailed Sharper Image support who apologised for the missing plug and said they would have it sent out to us from the USA, expected delivery time, 4 - 6 weeks.
No plug was forthcoming and since then, repeated emails to Sharper Image customer services have gone unanswered.
I cannot now find the Sharper Image Europe website (it served the UK market, and shipped goods to the UK from a central depot in, I think, Holland or Belgium.) There's now no mention of a UK or European operation on Sharper Image's main US site.
Does anyone have any information as to whether Sharper Image is still trading over here? We're now saddled with something which will in basic form work with batteries (but which eats batteries as it does so) but will only allow its facilities to be used to the maxium if connected to the mains. . .

What sort of plug are you referring to? A standard UK 13 amp 3 pin mains plug?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

If the item has a mains plug already albeit non U.K. can you not just buy an adaptor to convert from that plug to U.K. type?
Similar to 3rd one down here. http://www.revealcable.co.uk/acatalog/Plug_Adapters.html0 -
Many thanks traveller (and manin) -- plus apologies for this belated response, I hadn't time to come back to the board before going of on an overseas trip on April 19th and only returned on Wednesday this week, iyiyiyi!
I'm going to take up that link you so thoughtfully provided, traveller; if it doesn't work out, well, at least it was worth a try!
Sincere thanks again --
