Thanks for doing the honours MrsMd, only just got in.
Been out for a fantastic steak and a good bottle of wine.
Also sampled a couple of pints of a very fine ale - Thwaite's LANCASTER BOMBER - a really excellent brew - can recommend to any beer drinker to try it if they get the chance - keep an eye out for it.
Anyway back to the matter at hand .....

Free family rail card for 3 months over summer
see details
Savings.
Summer savings
Fancy getting out and about more with the kids? We’ve teamed up with Family Railcard for an exclusive, free 3-month trial where you can save 1/3 off adult fares and 60% off kids’ fares.
Daily Mail readers, get ready for some exciting days out this summer with your free Family Railcard. It gives up to four adults 1/3 discount on fares, and up to four children a 60% discount. Plus, you don’t need to be from the same family – or even be related. As long as you’re travelling with a child you can enjoy this great offer.
We’ve worked out that means a family of four travelling from say, London to Bournemouth, could save a hefty £33. Easy as that. Apply online here – and start saving!
Great rail offer
Of course, kids love trains and travelling this way also makes family outings a lot more fun too. There are no hassles over finding parking spaces, no traffic jams to sit through, and no worries about when the next loo stop is coming up either. Best of all, you can spend the savings you make on treats for the kids.
So, what are you waiting for? It’s free, but we must receive your application before 24 April 2007. Don’t miss out. Apply online here – and start saving!
Terms and conditions
Your trial Family Railcard is valid until 31 July 2007.
Railcard to be carried on all journeys.
Offer available to residents of Great Britain aged 16 years or over – excludes employees of Daily Mail or ATOC Ltd.
Minimum group size is one adult (the named cardholder) and one child aged 5 to 15 years. Maximum group size is four adults (two named cardholders plus two other adults - aged 16 years or over) and four children (aged 5 to 15).
The Railcard is not transferable and remains the property of ATOC Ltd.
Family Railcard discounts are not available on First Class fares.
The £5 offer saving is only available for online purchases of Family Railcard and cannot be redeemed at stations.
Offer valid between 23 July and 31 August 2007 with Promotional Code “DAILYM15”.
A morning peak restriction applies on services in London and the South East, Mondays to Fridays.
A full set of Family Railcard Terms & Conditions is available from any staffed station ticket office or here.
Train travel is subject to the National Rail Conditions of Carriage. Names of the Train Companies and copies of the National Rail Conditions of Carriage are available at staffed ticket offices or here
