Friday 13th April

Please post here if you get any of today's newspapers or have the chance to look through one.
Please tell us if any of them contain coupons or freebies or vouchers OR NOT !

Important details are:
The cost of the newspaper
Whether it's a regional edition
Page number
Expiry date of the voucher
Whether it's store specific and has a barcode

Remember if you go shopping look in as many newspapers as you can.
Post even if you don't see any coupons, and mention any offers that you see.

Below you'll find a list of the abbreviations and how to interpret them.

MOC - Money Off Coupon
Bc - Barcode, good chance of universal scan
bc - only selected stores scan
Xwrd - Crossword
PUZ - Puzzle
T#3 - Token 3
T2collect - Token 2 Collect (generally you have to collect numerous tokens to get the offer)

    UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE See post 8 this thread ..I am thankful for poster ACER pointing my error out. I have amended above date to the correct date....In future I think it wiser to post Month rather than numerics as early mornings/old age/eyesight and addled brainbox causes old crock to err.

    My gamble paid off! ;) I only bought a few copies of the Mail on Saturday when the last Book Token was in as the Mail on Saturday is more expensive :o I was hoping the voucher would be in todays Mail too.

    does the book token work with any amount spent or is it limited to 10% of shopping? I assume it's Tesco that it works in.

    It all depends on the till SA - young males seem to be more willing to scan vouchers ;)
    It can sometimes be a bit hit and miss with these vouchers. If you are unable to use it this time, then save it for your next visit!

    DM £3.50 book token - the one in Saturdays DM expires 30th APRIL, just wondering if crocker put todays as expiring 30.5.07 by mistake? worth checking before you buy 2 months worth!!

    Tesco are selling the book for £3.73 so I used Saturdays voucher to get it for 23p.It scanned fine.
