Debenhams half price sale and Designers at Debenhams (70% & BOGOF)

Hi just thought I'd mention that in Debenham's Manchester, they have several rails of Designers at Debenham's stuff which is all 70% off. There are big signs up to say buy one get one free too, so some serious bargains to be had :T

Don't know if this is just the Manchester store or a UK wide thing. I picked up 2 Jasper Conran suit jackets, which would have cost £245 originally. They were marked down to £36 and £30, and as they were bogof I got them both for just £36 :D

Official insert: It's been noted further down this thread that when buying BOGOF items you only get the cheapest two free so best is to buy them two at a time.

There was also some rails at 70% and BOGOF in Bournemouth Debenhams the other day so looks like this is not store specific.
I wasn't lucky enough to find anything for myself but agree with Boots_babe there was some serious bargains in there!

Just thought, one thing to be aware of. I bought 4 things, priced at £36, £30, £12 and £7. At the till, the total price was too high, and she said that you only get the cheapest two free. So she was giving me the £12 + £7 free, instead of the £30 and the £7!

So I said that's fine then, I'll take the £36 and £30 and leave the other 2, and come back in a minute to buy the other items ;) So just be careful, if you want more than 2 things, probably best to buy them separately or you will miss out.

This happened to us at TGIF. We had 2 vouchers, each one said child eats free with adult. Two adults, two kids, but they would only take one voucher.

The meal and service had been grim anyway so I started to make a fuss about the voucher. In the end though rather than spoil the evening any further I just gave the second voucher to people at next table.

So made no diff to them as they ended up accepting both vouchers anyway. The hell with TGIF and their greasy food and bored waitresses.

You should have made them split the bill in 2 ie 2 bills one for each parent and child.........

    Hi

I ahve just been to Debenhams in Sunderland and got some major bargains in the bedding dept. We have a superking bed and its usually REALLY pricey for bedding. I have got loads at 70% off and BOGOF too. Had to put them through on different sales though as the previous poster mentioned.

Just popped into Debenhams (shhhh....I'm supposed to be decorating!) and got:

£88 worth of kids clothes for £15 and
£36 of stuff for me for £5.40.

Kids stuff was all summer gear as well, so I will be in the good books <G>

You can get a card I think - and that will give you an extra 10% off sale prices. Plus you can use the vouchers which are online to get more off! Sale starts 16:30 for cardholders. See the link above for further details and what may be in it (although it was down this morning...)
