Block paved drive cleaning

Options
I've been quoted hundreds of pounds for cleaning block paved drive so I'm going to do it myself.

Any ideas or products to help or will a pressure washer do it alone. No doubt I'll then need to put sand back between blocks

Its up to you but i would not use a pressure washer.
I know people who have and have blasted the sand grout out of the joints totally messing up the paving so yes you will need to refill the joints.

I would use a solution of bleach dissolved in warm water and a stiff brush.

works well on decking as well ;)

I agree with the bleach idea and have found that you simply have to put the bleach down and leave it to work for itself. Using a stiff broom is a waste of effort. You will find that within a few days the green mould will disappear!

If you have a wallpaper stripper you could steam clean it.

I use mine to defrost my freezer and clean the kitchen floor periodically.

If you use bleach watch where the run off goes. Garden plants don't like bleach
