The 29th annual Free Cone Day, on the anniversary of Ben & Jerry's opening is a thank-you to the customers.

Just to clarify a touch. Every year Ben & Jerry's has a day when if you go to selected stores it gives away free cones, and the next one is due!

    there are 12 shops in my region and only 2 are offering free scoops, so don't waste a trip.

    I'm not 100% certain but I think they have a couple of people outside the shop in Leicester Square asking for donations to a charity in return for a free ice cream.

    Again, I can't remember if they were linked with B&J's (I think they were).

    Did anyone else have the same experience?


    (Personally, I don't mind people collecting for charity but I like to donate to the charity of my choice which makes me feel slightly bad if I don't give to the people outside B&J's

    Thanks for pointing this out, I nearly wasted a trip to the Hull one!

    Actually there IS one in Hull, (or just on the outskirts at least) at Cineworld, Kingswood. The first link from eveasham1988la doesn't show them all, but the scoopshoplocator http://www.benandjerrys.co.uk/scoopshoplocator will show a few others.

    Think I'll go watch the Wild Hogs movie and have myself some cookie dough!!
