I second you on that, Welshlamb - at the winter Next sale, I was stood in the queue outside waiting for the shop the open, and behind me was a woman who had her 2 week old twins in a double pram, and a toddler on reins. Really didn't envy her that, I certainly couldn't face getting up that early and having to get the babies up and dressed too. I'm glad hubby was at home to look after my two little ones, and they were all still asleep by the time I got home that morning anyway!

I'm so glad I can shop online this time, as hubby is away on business, and I was getting withdrawal symptoms at the thought of missing one of my traditional Nexy pilgrimages lol!

So much more civilised to sit at the computer with a cup of tea than traipsing the shops - kids or no kids! It's not a massive sale but there are some bargains there (from the main spring/summer Directory catalogue).
For non-Directory users I find the best thing to do is have two browser windows open at once - one where you have the list of things on sale (and you buy in this browser) and another where you can paste in the item number to have a good look at it.

Tried to order online, but £3.50 delivery, +£3.50 compulsary Next Directory catalogue request (!) takes the bargain out of most sale prices.
I hear the cry of the silence around me.

There are some free postage codes around, although I havn't tried them. I don't think I'm allowed to post them here, but you can find them on page 2 of the Onnline & Offline Dicount vouchers forum. They're under "Wanted: Next free delivery codes".

 I have just been to the sale at Manchester - stanley green and i cant say there was much there the sale looks much better online - if you have the Spring/Summer directory - If you havent been yet i cant see there is much point in going - i was there for 7 and when i left at 7.30 having only bought 3!!!!!!!!!!! things about 50% of the clothes had gone - and most of the childrens/baby wear
IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER TO SAY THE LEAST

I completely agree, a total waste of time, there was so little there that it didn't warrant such a great big fanfare!
  • Placed my order for £150 worth of stuff, we'll see what's good or otherwise.

I had a nice leisurely shop with coffee at the same time!

oh nuts. Why does next empty your shopping bag if you don't use it after so long. I only went downstairs for 20 mins - anybody know how to stop this happening or what the time limit is.

Incidentally nothing in the sale I was shopping at full price !
