putting 0% balance transfer on mortgage

Options
Does anyone know if it's possible to use the 0% balance transfer available on a credit card to overpay on my flexible mortgage-obviously at the end of the 0% deal I'd transfer it back out of the mortgage and pay off the card...
This is my first post so hope I'm not asking something obvious!!

Most credit cards that allow balance transfers (BTs) only allow the BT from another credit card. Egg Money (and some others) allow the BT from a bank current account. So if you get yourself an Egg Money card, you can then do a BT from Egg Money to your 0% BT credit card. That puts Egg Money in credit. You then do a BT (or just transfer the money yourself from Egg's website) from Egg Money to your current account. You can then do what you want with the cash - in your case, pay it into your flexible mortgage account.
