Since it appears that LTSB are crediting some accounts with February's STC matching money on the 7th March (from the T&C's the latest they can credit on 1st April,) it made me wonder what everyone was going to going to do once you get March's STC match (latest May 1st) and the promotion has ended?

Only reason is it keeps the account at a nice round balance0 -
Unsubscribe from STC, close/empty the savings accountsomeone wrote:Only reason is it keeps the account at a nice round balance
Any particular reason you need the balance in your account to end with .00?Conjugating the verb 'to be":

I don't see how you can keep a balance at .00 with direct debits going out at all different sums.0

Unsubscribe from STC, keep/use the savings accountInertia means I'll leave the sweeping arrangement in force. However once I've achieved March's £50 I'll discontinue use of the debit card for normal purchases. Using a cashback credit card will be more beneficial.
Though I'll leave the savings account open, I'll wind it down as the interest rate isn't exactly high! It might be useful to have it available to put money in temporarily from time to time as it nevertheless has better rate than the the Classic Plus account.
In the poll, I've selected the third option as that's the closest to the above.0 -
Keep going with STC.i'll keep going with it...I liked it as a concept even without the free cash. the interest is comparable to my current account so personally I see no need to get rid of it...that is until I find a better use for my cash!!0

Keep going with STC.i am considering changing it to get my wages paid into lloyds in which case i will definatly keep it if not im not sure - depends on how much i decide to leave in there, the plan was to just leave it with £10 on my accountYes Your Dukeiness0

I have just checked my bank account on line and Lloyds have credited me today with £40 in respect Februarys spend.0

Keep going with STC.Will keep going with save the change it is costing my current account more as i like to work in nice round numbers i.e when the STC give the savings account £40.00 i felt like i had to round it up to £100.00. I know that the interest is not that high compared to other products around but transferring the money over and back to LTSB accounts is done instantly.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I think the basic rounding up idea is a load of rubbish TBH. You can't make or destroy money so rounding up and moving to a savings account doesn't do anything useful to me. Matching the sum does though.
I need to do a complete review of all my rates over my accounts before making a decision.Happy chappy0 -

Except the royal mint
Oh, and I can think of many ways to destroy money (but who wants to do that?)
