Anyone noticed Tesco "Value" range disappearing?

I don't shop in Tesco that often but recently I've been in my local one twice for bits and pieces. First time I noticed that there was no Value veg/fruit. Second time I was on the lookout and noticed that there seemed to be very little Value stuff at all.
Is it now Tesco's policy to phase out the Value stuff? There have been a few threads on here recently about price increases in the lower cost items in supermarkets - are any other supermarkets phasing out the budget ranges?

I doubt they'd do that, it's extremely popular.
Although I did notice that 1KG of "Value" long grain rice is exactly the same price as 1KG of "Tesco" stuff....0 -

they will stock different amounts of their value/normal/finest ranges depending on the average shopper to that shop.
For example, if one of their stores is in an area where more people earn more money (ie, will theoretically be spending more money on their food), tesco will have more shelf space given over to their finest ranges. In areas where people have less money for food, they will stock more of their value ranges, as finest stuff is less likele to sell there
This is based on the data of everything they sell through the tills, and looking at Clubcard records.
Most national stores do this if they have different ranges. The idea is that if they target their shopping 'audience' (so to speak) more accurately, they will sell more.
So, it might be that in your store they have decided that they weren't selling enough Value stuff in some ranges, so have removed some of those lines. They do re-jig their figures every so often, so it might be that.
Or it could just be that they didnt have any stock of that Value range on the day.One thing...that sets pulses racing...that gets hearts pounding...for which there is no substitute...only YOU can provide...blood.
