£50 Alliance and leicester cash is if you take the creditcard to...

Just read Martins latest Tips and he mentions the A+L £50 offer.

Just to point out if you read the small print, you must open (and use) an A+L credit card as well otherwise you get £25:

"This £50 offer is available for online Premier/Premier Plus Current Account applications and is in conjunction with a successful online application for (and subsequent usage of) the Alliance & Leicester Credit Card.

£25 will be automatically credited to your Premier/Premier Plus Current Account within 8 weeks of account opening with a further £25 being credited providing you are accepted for, and subsequently use your Alliance & Leicester Credit Card. The credit card must be used within 60 days of account opening for the second £25 to be paid. Second £25 payment will be made any time up to 8 weeks of first usage of the credit card. Multiple applications are only eligible for one total £50 payment. Both offers are available from 14th March 2005, can be withdrawn at any time and are only applicable to new Alliance & Leicester Current Account customers. This offer is not available if you are accepted for an alternative current account or credit card product.

If you apply online and are accepted for a Premier/Premier Plus Current Account, but do not wish to apply for the Alliance & Leicester Credit Card then only £25 will be credited to your Premier/Premier Plus Current Account within 8 weeks of account opening. Multiple applications are only eligible for one £25 payment. "



Not the best CC in the world to have but ity doesn have a 9 month balance transfer facility (not purchases though)
