Not quite as generous as last years quick reads £1 voucher giveaway, but you can order free Quick Reads promotional packs here:
http://www.niace.org.uk/quickreads/user/resources.php
posters
bookmarks
mugs
pens
learning materials
Just click on the link and say how many packs you want.
You can see the 2007 selection of Quick Reads titles here:
http://www.niace.org.uk/quickreads/user/about.php
In the FAQ section it states
Will there be £1-off book tokens this year?
No, the price of each title is £1.99, rather than £2.99 as last year, so tokens are not required.
Also - World Book Day is on the 1st March and all school age children should receive a £1 book token to spend on any book costing £2.99 or more - or on the special £1 titles:

I have just received this year's quick reads promotional goodies (passed last year's on to the local library, son's classmates and the library book club).
In my parcel I got thirty pens (better than last years), a mug, lots of cardboard book marks, competition entry forms and posters.
If its anything like last year I've got more on the way!
There are no £1 off vouchers this year I don't think but a better selection of books (I also received 10 free paperbacks just prior to Christmas).
Be interested to hear what other people get this time.
(you don't need to be a member of any club to join up .. https://www.quickreads.co.uk) and just register an interest. They are a friendly bunch and always respond to queries etc.
