If you're planning to run Windows XP on that I'd suggest that you up the RAM to at least 512Meg. I've got an my old system as a backup with nearly the same specs as that running XP Pro with 512Meg. Believe me, it makes a difference.
    Boo!
  • cheers mate.
Was after something just like this for a friend.
Modem not required ( lets face it with broadband just as cheap as dial up why would you want one)
Have a few operating systems here i can use.
For the price, its an absolute bargain.
lets hope the HDD not full a bad sectors tho

It's probably old 133mhz sdram maybe even 100mhz, so the apart from buying ram on ebay I don't know of any good places to buy it.

Can get a cheap monitor from ebuyer, an old operating system and for under £100 you can get someone on the internet, think of the joy you could bring them! Might need to find a stick of memory as someone said though. too late though looks like they've gone.

My first posts says base unit only.

There will be nothing with it no monitor keyboard mouse etc and prob no operating system.

    All gone now anyhow.

Yep agree with that.....until recently I was running a Pentium 2 350mhz based system which i had built to order years ago...ran fine but i soon uninstalled nortons processor and memory sapping software
