Default Travel Insurance Waiting list

has anybody got travel insurance while on waiting list.
I am on elective waiting list.
If I simply removed my name I would be ok.
Condition is stable but I would like a proceedure done and to stop medication
Seems unfair.

if the condition is stable couldnt you just travel with the condition un-insured? it's not mandatory at the end of the day, and it sounds like coming off the list just to get travel insurance is a bit strong. If youre going to the US then it might be a different matter, but if youre off to europe it might not be such a bad risk to take? getting travel ins while youre on a waiting list is next to impossible as far as i remember...good luck.

if it's more than 10 stone, and that hairy, it's probably not a dog...it may be a wookie.

Your Insurance would become "null and void" if you didn't declare a "pre existing condition"

I'm not on a waiting list, but I have a pre-existing condition. I declared it and they insured me on the basis that I would be insured for everything except that condition. That might be your best bet?

only if you claim for the medical condition you didnt declare, or something related to it. If your baggage goes missing you still get paid...you essentially choose not to cover it - might have just phrased my thoughts badly.
