I've posted this on another thread (see http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=363707), but I think it's worth a thread on it's own right.

Anybody have a free P+P code for https://www.halfcost.co.uk ? I found it when looking through Google and Froogle for the best price on a Sony NWA1200 Walkman 8GB MP3 Player. It's £67.29 on https://www.halfcost.co.uk!

Play.com has the same item for £129, it's even £99.95 on Ebay (on a Buy It Now). It's £100+ everywhere else (even on Froogle etc) :

.... so it's £40-£70 cheaper than everywhere else.

Looks a good deal.... but never heard of the company... and they don't seem to sell much (plenty of odd things - like a Stan Ogden figurine for £2.49!!!). And their homepage claim of "Every single item has been priced at 50% off our bulk purchase cost." seems to be saying "we are deliberately losing money".

Anyway - gave it a go as I don't really want to follow the iPod crowd. I must be mad after saying the above - but it's on credit card.

This company have just relaunched,previously having been called Studio Outlet.

I had lots of dealings with them under their old name without any problems,so don`t see why there should be any problems this time.

Not bothered about getting the free P+P since I'm getting it so cheap (you'd pay £3.99 anywhere else anyway). Was just penny pinching I suppose !!? :-)
