No mention of a karzi."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I don't know what you're concerned about. It has cupboard space for a shower AND a kitchenette!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

It will be fun if the owner wants to "look over the shoulder" of the builder while he works on renovating it.

One advantage is that it will be easy to keep clean, being so small."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Deja vu....anyone else remember an almost identical news story back in the late 80's when a "Broom cupboard" opposite Harrods went on the market of an equally silly amount of money?
Must have been a slow news day......0 -
Presumeably you sleep standing up?? At least you wouldn't need to fork out for much furniture :rotfl:
This country really has gone round the bend

Yes I remember that too.Alan_M wrote:Deja vu....anyone else remember an almost identical news story back in the late 80's when a "Broom cupboard" opposite Harrods went on the market of an equally silly amount of money?

Found the details and yet again never let the truth get in the way of a good story:
http://www.lanefox.co.uk/search/floorplan.php?regionID=2&buyorlet=1&nobed=0&minprice=0&maxprice=1&location=0&resultno=0®ionID=2
Reading the BBC story and you might think that the 11 x 7 was the overall size but the EA says the floor area is 147sq ft. Look at the floorplan and it's not as bad as the article makes out. Plus it is a top address.

Houses under the hammer showed a couple of Chelsea studios going for £90k each at auction. The buyers spent £2 on each and then the local agents valued them at £130k plus with a poss rental of £150 a week. This new one seems a bit overpriced, but if I was to take a job in London, a season ticket would cost me £4456 plus tube fares. I would consider such a place if I could walk to work and come back for the weekends. And you can have a Chelsea residents parking permit ( according to the BBC).0
