NECTAR voucher for ADAMS are changing 15/1/2007

as from Monday 15/1/2007

500 nectar points will only be worth £3 in adams vouchers

be quick as at the moment, they are worth £5

this information has come from my local store manager

Adams are installing a swipe for nectar saving you the hassle of ordering vouchers....

I asked in Adams only last week & they have said the 500 points for £7.50 offer will be back on in the summer & this 500 points for £5 will still be valid until then.

i was told this info in Wellingborough branch,

i was also told in Milton Keynes last sunday that when the swipe card is back in opperation the value of 500 points will drop to £3 instead of £5,

i have cashed most of my nectar in to be on the safe side

Already 500 points only worth £3 on the Nectar website now.

I have phoned Nectar on 02072096355 because the website crashed last night & I was unable to order any so they are going to look into it.

I am gutted.

I save the points to spend at Adams, don't use them elsewhere.
The clothes are alright but I wouldn't buy them without the points as they are overpriced.

I have phoned them to ask why they didn't inform us of the change and they said it was a promotion and now it has ended so they didn't need to. I said it has always been £5 vouchers for 500 points and she had to agree with me.

Told them I was going to get my points changed tomorrow and they would have been worth £100 now only £60. They can keep there clothes and I'll spend the points somewhere else as it's just not worth it.

if you take a look at nectars adams page - http://www.nectar.com/rewards/rewardSubCategory.nectar?method=subCategorySearch&RWC=RWC0000025&RWS=RWS0000095. it states

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please note that due to an unforeseen technical fault with the chip and pin functionality, it is currently not possible to redeem Nectar points straight off your Nectar card in adams kids stores.

For the foreseeable future and so that collectors can continue to enjoy redeeming their Nectar points at adams kids stores, the previous voucher reward has been reactivated.

so get in there quick to covert 500 points to £5

It still states that 500 points is worth £3 though. I wouldn't count on getting a £5 voucher.

It just states that you can't redeem the reward directly at Adams, but need to phone up the voucher.

I suppose it might be worth asking when you make the call though.
