Now I know I'm not popular but MSE telling me I have 65535 unread PMs is just plain cruel!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyone know what's going on?

    Its just a glitch in the servers, there are a few going round with over 4million posts :D

    vBulletin does stuff like that sometimes, its pretty much unavoidable :)

    Seems it spits out the maximum number for the size of the variable that is used, ie 65535 = the maximum number that can be stored in 2 bytes. :)

    haha this happened to me and it was for the same amount of pm's too. woke up to such a shock.

    rocas!. Living-if only you knew had hacked their postcount as they were trolling big time yesterday re:muslims!!! been ppr'd now i hope.

    The high post counts showing at the moment are a glitch of the site when deleting posts and is nothing to do with users being able to hack their account.

    Hopefully it will get fixed but please don't anyone think that users can hack their account or post counts.

    It does seem to be AE's that get the weirdly high post counts- why is this?

    Its nothing to do with AE's its a glitch in the system at the moment when the team delete all posts.

    Molanole. i had that same number on my PM's. I deleted a few old ones and the 65535 magically disappeared!
