Mother's Day

:p I know Valentines Day is first but I want to start collecting my items for Mother's Day Gift Baskets now.

I managed to get a really pretty tea set in Superdrug for £1.49 and i'm now looking for tea related items to add to it.

Any ideas on where ill get cheap tea strainers, speciality teas etc

All ideas very gratefully received.

If you have a pound shop they usually have packs of tea strainers. Mine had a pack of 2 for a pound and they were stainless steel.
Look in homeware section of supermarkets too, often they have these little bits for around £1.

Asda do lots of the speciality teas, fruit teas etc, worth looking for in supermarkets.

    hope that helps

Whittard has a website where you can but gorgeous gorgeous fruit flavoured tea - it's kinda pricey at 3 for £12 but it's absolutely lovely and lasts ages!!

Try ebay aswell, I know there's an Ebay shop called Harvest Country Store that does posh tea, fruit tea and speciality tea pretty cheap (less then £2 a pop!!)

    Enjoy, tea rocks!!

If you're in Aberdeen in Scotland: you could try Mcbeans (I think its called that) on the road out the back of the bon accord centre - the one leading to union street. Not sure how expensive they are but they have nice looking things in the windows.

Asda / tesco etc. also do some lovely stuff - and as gettin me own back said try boots: they often do the whittards boxset stuff over christmas, and you can get some lovely stuff in the sales from there - often at a huge amount less than whittards prices. And the whittards shop is downstairs in the bon accord centre - near the george street exit.

I still treasure a beautiful letter my daughter wrote to me on mothers day when she was 13, the paper was decorated with little hand drawn flowers, if i remember rightly it was accompanied by a medium bar of chocolate and a bunch of daffodills
