Flight Tax - Fight Back
Moonlight_2
The doubling of Airport Passenger Duty (APD) from 1 February 2007 will contribute an additional £900 million a year to the Government's general finances, with APD in total raising some £1.8 billion per annum - none of which is committed to environmental projects. We call upon Gordon Brown and Tony Blair to dedicate this money to projects to mitigate the environmental impacts of aviation.

Signed it but you're wasting your time. Gordon Brown doesn't give two hoots what you think just as long as he's robbing you blind. How else would he get all that money to flush down the toilet?0

If enough people sign the petition, they will have do listen, if we do not try then they will think they can do it again and again and again...0

This country is turning into an unliveable state. Its pretty laughable.
But in concern to passengers what is the increase? £5 per flight (return) or £10?Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"0 -

To sit back and do nothing, wringing our hands in helplessness, means we will deserve whatever they throw at us.
I ve signed it0 -
Unfortunately this will still be ignored. War in Iraq, look how many people opposed that, there were protests in the streets,(I can't see this happening with how Airline taxs are used) and STILL we entered into the Iraq war, so sadly, although I will sign this petition, it will probably be as successful as a bacon seller in Jerusalem on a Friday night. If freedom is outlawed, only outlaws will have freedom.0

Don't forget, as well, that Gordon & Tony have to find £7M for that vitally important programme to show Civil Servants how to keep their desks tidy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0
