Any other Ideas/help would be helpful.

Hi, A great place to stay in New York is Radio City Apartments. Been to New York 3 times and satyed there each time. Its just round the corner from Times Square. They have studios and suites, would really recommend. Check out TripAdvisor.com
I used Lastminute.com a couple of times last year for hotels abroad, and had no problems at all with them.
Enjoy New York0 -
i stayed in yourstay apartment in 34 street west which is next to empire state building and 1 minute walk to macys, 30 seconds walk to subway and 2 minutes walk to manhattan malls. great apartment with kitchen, cable TV and free cable internet access (you will need your own laptop with ethernet port).
i booked my holiday with expedia.co.uk (flights and apartment).0 -
Have just returned from a 5 day stay in New York and stayed in Hotel 41, West 44th Street, right in the heart of Times Square, behind the theatre that shows the Lion King. It was featured on the BBC's holiday programme last week.
The hotel was in a fantastic location, 2 minutes from Times Square and is a hidden treasure within New York. Best thing was it isn't pricey. We booked through expedia and got a great deal on the hotel. No problems with the booking, everything was fine.
I have posted a hotel report on tripadvisor.com on the New York city forum if you wanted to look at it.
Got some great tips from the tripadvisor forum - plenty of advice availiable.
If you want to know anything else, just ask and I;ll try to help
Enjoy xxI say what I like, I like what I say!0 -
Forgot to mention, whilst your there you really must consider doing the following things:
Helicopter ride around the city approx cost £55.00 for 10-12 minutes - but an amazing experience
Empire State Building at dusk, to see the sun set and night fall - truly unforgettable. Spent 2 hours up here, in the freezing cold, but it was worth every second.
Dinner or Drinks at The Marriot Marquis, Times Square. There is a revolving restaurant on the top floor on the hotel, where you have fantastic views of a truly amazing city. Spent 5 hours here, eating and drinking and the view really was breathtaking.
They really are memories that will last forever xxI say what I like, I like what I say!0 -

The Hotel has a nice little bar and at night the cast from rent, which was showing at the theatre next door, would all pile in for a drink after the show icluding Mel B!.
Fantastic place and hope to go back soon. (off to Vegas this year!)There are 10 types of people in the world.
