I was just in my local Wilkinsons store where there has been a trolley with reduced items for a the past few weeks. I noticed they had the New Video
Co-Pilot which was £29.99 at christmas with a 50% off sticker on it.
Today it had a 75% off sticker so I asked the girl how much is it with the 75% off.
She took it off me and scanned it and said its now 30p.
I asked if this was correct and she said yes, they normally dont go down that much as they tend to go to a charity shop if not sold.
This was in store only so if you have seen any in the reduced isle check the price.
This is a picture of one on ebay (not mine)

A word of caution: some stores get REALLY upset when you buy this stuff at 99%! Basically the individual stores don't know straight away when things go down to 99% off because head office does it, as soon as they find out they take it all off the shelves & give it to charity (or the managers get it!!).
Sooo if you find some of these - don't ask the price just buy them. They may try and stop you but just say I'm buying them and that's the end of it you can't stop me!
A while ago they weren't so fussy and my dad used to buy thousands of pounds worth of stuff at 99% off!0 -

Funny you should say that. As soon as the girl at CS said 30p another girl came over to take them off the trolley but wasnt too happy when i said I will take all three of them.0 -
Thankyou Caverncity, you're doing well lately!
Managed to bag one 19 mins after your post! Just the one left in my store and I walked straight to it. The person on the till did a double take but I just gave them the 30p, got my receipt and left.
A strange bit of kit, I think you program it and leave it pointing at the video until the programme you want to record starts, then it sends a signal to the video. Just hope the dog doesn't knock it!0 -
Never heard of stores giving them to charity before?!
Im back at work tomorrow so I can get a list of all stores stocking this equipment if anyone's interested?0 -

Thanks
p.s. I have seen wilko stuff in charity shops before.0 -
I've got a spreadsheet already setup that lets you choose your local store, it then displays all discounted stock i.e. 50/70 and 99% and the stock amounts. Problem is its a 13mb file and I dont have any webspace.0
