Good morning lovely DFWs
One day closer to the weekend! I so need a longer sleep than the few hours I am getting at the moment. At least no funny dreams last night! I think I literally passed out when my head hit the pillow and then had a shock when the alarm went off
Anyway, today is a good day as the debt figure has gone a little more. Amazon and mystery shopping arrived in my overdraft so that was another £27 knocked off
I am planning a non spender today. I have all I need and it's too cold and wet to leave the office for any spontaneous shopping!
Have a lovely day everyone and keep it low!
Moozie x

Hi Moozie, well your great day is almost here, bet you are getting pretty excited! Well I'm still not out and about yet but DH has been to ASDA this morning(before school) he bought milk(in budget so not counting that) MUFFINS(haven't been baking recently) barmcakes and the evening news(it comes out early here!) so total spend is £2.19 Not TOO bad. Hope you have a good day and that everybody here is well, warm and happy.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

Hi Moozie, I haven't been on here for a few days as I have been working a lot, however a day off now.. I will hopefully spend just enough to pay for carparking so around £1.20 I hope and no more. Bought some lovely specs last week but need to take them in for adjusting as they are hurting my ears! Oh ....and I am going to uni to hand in my dissertation AT LAST:j :j :jDebtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0

Good morning Moozie - glad you had a better night last night. Love the Avtar btw too
I keep losing track of the weekly budget challenge (in more ways than 1!) so I can't remember if I've even joined in on this one!
Today however I've spent £1.30 on bread, £4.50 on a teatowel with dd3's handprint on cos hubby (I'm gonna blame it on him) has put it somewhere I couldn't find so I couldn't take it back to nursery, and £55 for last weeks nursery fees (I pay most by vouchers).
I think weekly budgets are going to go out of the water soon though. I have realised that I get paid in advance at current job, and new job is in arrears. So I am going to be a month without pay. Also, I need to work 4 weeks full time instead of shifts for initial training, which means no shift enhancement, and full time childcare for the 3 kids on much less pay
Fingers crossed they give me a nice redundancy packet otherwise it's not just the turkey that will be stuffed this chrimboDebts @ lightbulb moment (13/06/2006) - £59,842.23  All commercial debts now clear!!! :T Debts April - £20,000 to family (incl extra £10k borrowed for house deposit). DFD - Aug 2014
Proud to be dealing with my debts
Goal of the month - £500 on groceries for family of 5 - Apr 2011 - £620!May - £454.85 so far.

Hello themaccas, I noticed you were not arround. Your diary hasn't been updated since 3/12 - just letting you know
Good luck with the dissertation, what a weight off your shoulders that must be! Hope you get a good result :TLeason learnt :beer:0 -

Hello Brassic, long time no see!
Sounds like you have a tough month ahead. I hope the redundancy pay is a nice one and you don't struggle too much. I know it's tough right now with the change over but it will even out and you will get on top of it before you know it.

Morning all,
Well I had a no spender yesterday but don't think I will achieve it today. Found I have no breakfast cereal at work, I refuse to pay 60p for a small box from the canteen (1 serving  ) it's 99p for 500g in Tesco but it's too wet and windy to go there. Would a slice of weetabix cake count as breakfast?!?
I am out tonight with friends, however I am a client (at work) of one of the guys, he has just emailed me and said that he is going to expense our dinner and drinks and he will put it down as our Christmas "do". Fab! I might even get a taxi home out of it :rotfl:
So, ok, put me down for a tentative no spender....Saving for an early retirement!0 -

You're so sweet! More importantly, I was wondering how YOU were getting along. I've taken to spending more time in my room than a mardy teenager, but things are absolutely fine!!Overpay!0 -
