I am checking for a work colleague if she is getting a good deal with the above and I will also put this onto the elect and gas forum as she has telephone, gas and leccy with uw. She pays approx £176 a month all in (although) I am waiting confirmation that she has or has not line rental from BT on top. Phone is £25 per month mostly mobiles. Any thoughts please?

Ah, I have just come across a thread specially for UW and it seems a bit uncomfortable. However any useful comments on the phone side would help me.
    cheers

    Steer clear.

Primus Saver Option 2 and 18185 (with the occasional 1280 call) is best for most people.

Further info, she makes at least 15 quid worth of mobile calls to o2 and a couple to other mobile networks and bare minimum on local and national calls. 2 bills i have is home phone 28 quid and the other 25quid again mostly on o2 CALLS I will look at call checker for cheapest option on this

Taking the £28 phone bill off her £176/month UW charges, means she's paying £148/month for gas and electricity! What does she live in a palace with no windows or roof?

OK, I live in a newish bungalow but my gas is £27/month and my electricty is £31 - if UW is so cheap, how can she be paying £91/month more than I am?

OK, she has to pay UW's £1.76/month 'membership fee' but that sort of difference is incredible.

I know its only a 2 bed flat! I d/w her last night regards gas and leccy and its a defo on the £66pm gas and 72pm leccy. I live in a 5 bed and don't have anywhere near that. There is no outstanding amount due either to play catch up. And yes she does have on top of her average phone bill of £25pm her BT line rental of £11 so she is looking at changing over today.

You know the score on telephony so I'm sure you'll guide her in the right direction there.

It's off topic for this forum I know but I have to say I think she needs guidance more urgently on the gas and electricity.

When you take your phone service away from T-Plus, unlike other suppliers they do say in their T&C you must tell them first, before moving.

Primus will contact them, does this count or does it have to be the customer?
    cheers
