TescoTalk now doing line rental.

Tesco are now offering line rental prior to this it was CPS only.Dont all rush though.:D
Line rental is same as BT £11 a month .(10% off if you use online billing). However they charge £1.75p a month for caller display,where as BT provide it virtually free.Their call packages are more expensive then the CPS providers MSE recommends,and they can block calls to the likes of 18185,1899 etc.Plus they use a 0845 customer service number which will cost you 3.6p a minute to ring them at peak rate.

I'm surprised if they actually get customers with the rates they charge.
For Tesco's I'm surprised they would have such expensive tariffs.
Things like their Mobile tariffs are relatively cheap (depending on usage, etc) but their landline packages are not by any means cheap.
With linerental at £11 with them, it makes you wonder why they even bothered with it at all!
Obviously those customers that think having one bill is better will take up their linerental but if you're paying by direct debit then what difference does it make if its one bill or not? It doesn't make it any easier having one bill (I don't think) when paying by direct debit.
If paying by PayPoint, PostOffice, etc then I can see why some people think its easier to have "one" bill.0
