DAB radio - are PURE any good?

I'm looking for a new white DAB Radio for my kitchen & I've seen one for around £45 by PURE ONE - never heard of them, are they any good? - or can anyone advise on a solid brand - ALBA always seem a bit cheap - are there any websites for advice on this sort of thing?

Ive had a PURE Evoke for about a year now and am very pleased with it. Presume the model you are looking at is also made by PURE. Tried an ALBA before it and coundnt get any reception where I live. Never had a reception problem with the PURE radio. HTH0

We have two Pures, an Evoke in the bedroom and an Elan in the kitchen. Really excellent radios. I broke the aerial on the elan, phoned Pure and they sent a replacement next day F O C! Dont know about the model you've mentioned but my two are first class.0

Stick with PURE and you won't go wrong. I bought one a few months ago and it's the bees knees. Features are good, sound quality superb.
I had an ALBA TRDAB2820 that I got from Asda, replaced it twice before I finally asked for a refund (the LCD display stopped working on both occasions).Of course, I may just be talking b****cks!0 -
I won a PURE in a competition - excellent little piece of equipment. It's only a personal DAB radio - bit bigger than an MP3 player, but the sound quality is superb.No longer visiting these forums.0

I have a PURE and it is superb. I also have a fergusson - the half price one Currys were doing recently and it is okay, but, and this is a big but...
The PURE works very well in the kitchen but the Ferguson is useless in there, so not all DAB are created equal.We all evolve - get on with it0 -
Had a few products from Videologic (their old name) and Pure. All the products have been very good value for money and whilst I have had one or two minor problems they have all been sorted by them posting a replacement part within a couple of days free of charge (didnt even ask for proof of purchase/ date of purchase etc)All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

I have a PURE one its- BRILLIANT!!!- I got it for £39 by joining FREEMANS catalogue and getting 20% off the 1st order- never used em again but got a bargain radio! I seem to recall TESCO doing them online for £39.
I really rate it cos you can turn the volume right up and it doesnt distort- PURE really research the design of the speaker enclosure - they are designed in Britain .0 -
