Kilner type jars

Anyone know the best place to get these...want to make some chutney and I think they will be the best thing to use

    They have kilner type jars in Ikea, they are on their website with prices etc.

    Thanks for that idea but unfortunately I don't have an Ikea near me

  • Don't forget you can re-use jars that have previously contained pickled vegetables or fruit. I recycle pickled onion jars, pickled peppers, gerkins, olive, Saurkrout, beetroot cherries etc and once they've been through the dishwasher providing the lids look fine they will happily take chutney.
    It does mean that you can give away as raffle prizes, pressies to relatives your chutney without having to beg/nag them for the jars back when empty.

    I bought some of these to make sloe gin in. I have discovered that the seal on them is not tight enough, meaning when I give it a shake it comes leaking out.
