Free Swill and the Swaggerband EP

Hi folks, Woven Wheat Whispers are giving away free EP downloads of selected bands including Swill and the Swaggerband.

For any old punks and folkies out there Swill is the lead singer of The Men They Couldn't Hang, who apppeared earlier this year on BBC2's Folk britannia.

The Men They Couldn't Hang are the UK's foremost folk rockers. Coming out of the same stable as the Pogues. However, The Men They Couldn't Hang seem to have more of a social conscience and more of a punk element to them (reminiscent of the Clash).

Swill is the lead vocalist with The Men They Couldn't Hang and has made a couple of great solo albums.

Thanks Nick for recommending this free EP I've downloaded it and have been playing it on my iPod ever since!!

On the left hand side of the page, under 'Music Categories' there is a link to 'Free Music'

Nice one! i'm abig fan of TMTCH- anyone after only free stuff on the site can click on'search store' top right of home page- then put 'price £0- £0' in the top of the search terms you should get 15 items...i'm just on my 3rd btw... think i'll get em all!!!

I've listened to the Swill EP many times now and it's top notch. It's unusual to hear instrumental tunes from someone who is known for his voice.

I've also down loaded 4 more free EP's and will make recomendations later. Swill's EP is the best so far though.

Nice link couldn't get TMTCH links to work (use firefox as browser, so this sometimes happens) but managed to download Martha Tilston and the woods, beautiful voice and not an audio lentil bean to be heard
