Suspended from Ebay

This has probably been discussed before.

I was suspended from Ebay for seven days for a Vero offence. My account has not been reinstated after nine days.

Are they going to reinstate my account, or do I have to do something? They do not specify what I have to do in the alert they sent me!

I presumed that they would just reinstate my account after the seven days.

A manufacturer or intellectual property rights owner has reported to eBay that this posting breaches their intellectual property rights in one or more more ways. When eBay is notified by an intellectual property rights owner of a breach of intellectual property rights, eBay removes the posting in order to meet certain legal requirements. Please check with the rights owner if you have any questions about their claims. Some possible issues include the following:

you could try phoning ebay your emailing them as above it says no less than seven days so i guess this indicates it could be longer but it doesnt say how long

You can't reach them by phone unless you're a power seller

I was hoping there would be a clue in the message about what would happen next, but I suppose you either have to wait for them to contact you, or contact them via live help.

Out of interest, what were you selling? M$ CD's/Licences?

They always take mine down!!!

I was selling my ebooks (cough). I did some research, and was sure that they were legal. But someone complained.

I suppose I could use another account. But I'm on the slippery slope now, and the Ebay "secret police" will keep a close eye on me!

well ive been suspended / banned etc for selling replica watches and bags too many times its a running joke at work. all the times after the suspension I had to send two proofs of id, driving licence, utility bill etc and then they lift the suspension, be warned though if you do it again they ban you for 12 months, still on a 12 month ban from them which doesnt end until june next year.

oh i might add i'm not proud of it,

I definitely wouldn't recommend using another account, read this bit from your received email:

ebay are generally getting better now at linking accounts, i had several account under different credit cards and all got spotted, took them a few weeks but they spotted them in the end. I even used a work colleagues account (they no longer used it) but changed the payment address to mine and it was spotted aswell.

so be careful, thats how i got baneed for 12months, wouldnt take no for an answer.

If you press reply to email or contact them by email through the help pages asking when your suspension will be lifted. Its not automatic and you need to contact them. Im not sure how it will work in this case but mostly you just promise to be good get a warning and witinh about another week you get the ban lifeted.
As Soolin said I would not try opening another account until this is sorted, a few emails will let you know where you stand and here is the details of contacting them on the help page .
