Baskets for Hampers Found

I know a lot of people are busy making baskets/hampers up for Christmas presents. I've just been in to the Darlington branch of Wilkinsons where in the homeswares section I found some great (empty!) baskets to use as a base.

In with the pots and pans were the kind of baskets you put bread in, some were basic wicker ones while others had a nice cotton lining. Lots of different shapes & sizes starting at 99p.

In the section with bins & storage boxes there are a couple of nice square plactic baskets which are meant to be used in bathrooms/kitchens. They have holes in the side and metal handles. These start at 59p.

Hope this info helps!

Got one of the bathroom baskets to make a face pamper kit for my neices Mother. Am going to fill it with cotton wool balls then put in some Boots stuff I got cheap and a nice smelly candle. :)

Thanks for this - I need quite a few baskets this year - will have to make a trip to the 'big' Wilkinsons in the next town, my little one doesn't have anything like this

    Hiya

Just to add I have bought some fab metal mini shopping baskets for my hampers, from Tesco - think they were £1.50 - very funky.
They also had a plastic basket style that I bought that was about £1.75.
Really good prices. Thought I would share

I'm gonna try to do my kids a hamper each this year. My son is 13, and is starting to take more care in his appearance, he even pinches my facewash from bodyshop and informed me the other morning that I need some more  I already have some stuff in for his hair, just need some more 'manly but not too grown up' face products for him. If anyone spots any bargains, please let me know. My daughter is easier to buy for, she loves make-up, hair products, and skincare products, but everything has to be BUAV approved, thankfully the CO-OP products are all approved, so I have them to fall back on if it starts getting too expensive. I might even do a small one for the OH, get the kids involved in it. I just need to try to get to wilkinsons at the weekend so I can get started.
